The Georgian Ministry of Education and Science has started a
'Computers for all' program. The project is aimed at providing all
social groups with attractive loan rates for a computer or a laptop,
Business Georgia reports.
Intel is also taking part in the project. Alta, Algorythm and
Taoprivatebank are partners in the project.
Georgian Deputy Minister of Education and Science Koka Seperteledze
noted at a news briefing that such project has been successfully
realized in many countries.
Intel expert and consultant Robert Fogel presented the program. He
said that increasing the number of computers in Georgia will improve
education and stimulate the economy.
