Novorossiyskiy grain terminal penalized

The Federal Anti-monopoly Service (FAS) has fined the 'Novorossiyskiy
grain terminal' 10.4 million rubles. The Russian FAS said that the
company as part of 'Novorossiyskiy grain terminal' and 'Novorossiyskiy
commercial seaport' broke the law, part 1 article 10 of the federal
law 'On business competition protection', Yuga.ru reports.


The commission determined that the group had a dominant position in
the grain shipment at deep-water ports of Azov and Black Sea basin.
The commission found that the share of the group exceeded 50%, the
initial tariff of 425 rubles per ton was raised in 2009 to 470 rubles
per ton, and then to 550 rubles, the FAS press-service reports.
