Turkish premier urges Egyptian president to meet demands of protesters

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has urged Egyptian
President Hosni Mubarak to fulfill the demands of his people, RIA

Erdogan made the statement at the parliamentary session of his Justice
and Development Party on Tuesday.


The protests in Egypt started on January 25. People demand economic
and political reforms and resignation of Mubarak, who has been in
power for almost 30 years. According to Al Jazeera, 150 people were
killed and over 4,000 injured in the civil disorders. The protests
continue, despite the resignation of the government.
