Mubarak supporters and opposition clash in Cairo

Egyptian Vice-President Omar Suleiman urged the protesters to obey the
military and go home.


Overnight the supporters of President Hosni Mubarak threw Molotov
cocktails at the National Museum of Cairo. Fire was opened on the
opposition.


Reuters says that gunshots can still be heard at the central square of Cairo.
CNN reports that the number of Mubarak's supporters has dropped.
However, they are no less aggressive.


Al Arabia reports that the military has started arresting protesters.


Hackers started attacks on the government websites of Egypt, demanding
Mubarak resign, RIA Novosti cites Associated Press.


The websites of the Information Ministry and the National Democratic
Party of Egypt failed to open yesterday.


A hacker group, naming itself Anonymous, took the responsibility for the attack.
The Egyptian Healthcare Minister Ahmed Farid said that five people
died and over were injured in the recent clashes. Medics say that
there were 1,000-1,500 injured, over 800 were hospitalized.


The unrest in Egypt has been ongoing for over a week. People demand
resignation of President Hosni Mubarak, who has been at power for 30
years. Approximately 300 people died in the disorders.
