Turkey and Georgia will simplify the rules for border crossing.
Foreign passports will no longer be needed to cross the border from
May, Georgia Online reports.
The decision was made at a meeting of Georgian President Mikheil
Saakashvili and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
The sides discussed the expansion of economic cooperation and regional
security. They also discussed the improvement of bilateral relations
and development of integration processes in the Tans-Caucasus region.
Saakashvili said that he strives to unite the Caucasus. He emphasized
that state heads of the region share his views.
