Russia is ready to sign a contract with Iran on the supply of radioisotope products for the Iranian public health, RIA Novosti reports with a reference to the representative of Rosatom.
On February, 22, Sergei Kiriyenko, the General director of Rosatom had a meeting with Vice-President of Iran, the new head of the Atomic Energy Organization Faridoon Abbasi-Davani. Kiriyenko noted with satisfaction the positive results of tests of medical isotopes of iodine and molybdenum sent to Iran. These results allow the countries to sign a contract on the supply of radioisotope products for the needs of the Iranian health with a volume of up to 100 curies per week of molybdenum-99 and up to 15 curies of per week iodine-131.
