Georgia to implement common state information registry

Georgia will implement a common state information registry, Georgia Online reports.


Georgian Justice Minister Dmitry Dzangidze said that a common information database will be the next stage in implementing electronic management. The Data Exchange Agency will be responsible for communication and data exchange. There will be catalogue of all registries, databases, information systems and services.


Access to the information agency will be restricted to individuals. Only state structures will have access. Private subjects, registries, information systems and services will not be part of the common information registry.
