The measures include freezing bank assets and entrance of European states of 11 Libyan government members, Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and nine organizations.
26 members of Libyan authorities were disallowed to enter Europe in late February for use of force against protesters. An embargo on export of arms, ammo and special equipment to Libya was introduced.
The UN Security Council passed a resolution on March 17, introducing a no-fly zone over Libya to prevent air attacks on rebels. A military operation started on March 19. The coalition continues bombing Gaddafi’s military facilities in the east, Tripoli and Sirt. Libyan authorities said that there are many casualties and great damage.
