Batumi City Court on April 15 will hear the case of those accused of spying for Russia, RIA Novosti reported, with reference to the lawyer of the two defendants in the case, Nanu Tsuladze.
Last November, the Georgian Interior Ministry reported that it had identified dozens of people allegedly collaborating with the secret services of Russia. As a result law enforcement bodies of Georgia detained 15 people on suspicion of collaborating with the secret services of Russia. Two were released after the conclusion of a procedural deal, while 13 others are in still custody. Among those detained there are four Russian citizens - Armen Gevorgyan, Ruben Shikoyan, Peter Devrishadze and Yuri Skrylnikov.
