The US administration plans to realize 15 new programs in Georgia, worth a total of $90 million, US Ambassador to Georgia John Bass said today.
The official clarified that the programs are aimed at developing democracy and improving the legal and court systems.
The US Agency for International Development, the section for public affairs of the US embassy and the US Justice Department are implementing programs of fair and democratic management in Georgia.
The US investments are aimed at promoting democracy, strengthening court independence, rule of law, fair management and political debates.
The US ambassador had a meeting at the Georgian National Library.
