Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is counting on Stockholm's assistance in the extradition of militants from the Caucasus living in Sweden.
"If you talk about the Caucasus, besides the human rights issues proper, there is another problem, which I have spoken to the prime minister about. This issue is a problem of those bandits who, unfortunately, found refuge in Sweden and regarding whom I hope work will be continued in the framework of agreements signed between the Prosecutor Generals’ offices," Interfax quoted Medvedev as saying on Tuesday after talks with Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt in Moscow..
The Russian head of state expressed his hope for "constructive cooperation over this matter."
