Russia and Turkey will establish a top-level council for join cooperation, announced Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Wednesday, reports RIA Novosti.
"A range of important documents will be signed during the first session of council for cooperation, which will be created particularly to provide top-level dialogue between the states," Medvedev said at a briefing following talks with his counterpart Abdullah Gul. Five documents have been already signed.
The Russian and Turkish presidents have also reached an agreement on continuing work on implementing an effective European security system, proposed by Russia's leader.
