The Georgian State Minister for Integration into European and
Euro-Atlantic structures, Deputy Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze,
today opened an international conference "Cooperation for a European
Future," and noted that Georgia will continue to deepen relations with
the EU, News-Georgia reports.
The one-day conference was held at the House of Europe and was
attended by about a hundred civil society representatives from the EU
initiative "Eastern Partnership".
The conference also discussed the experience of Georgia, Armenia,
Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine as members of the "Eastern
Partnership" in the direction of European integration and the role of
civil society in deepening the integration process.
