Russian presidential adviser examines Chechen complaints

Russian Presidential Adviser Murat Zyazikov is heading a mobile
reception group in Grozny to study complaints of the locals about
housing and utilities problems, RIA Novosti reports.


A group of citizens in Grozny made a joint complaint on administration
of the city for taking down houses without permission of their owners.
Over 500 families want prevention of demolition.


A local from Bratskoye village of the Nadterechny District complained
about pollution on Terek River by housing and utilities enterprises of
North Ossetia-Alania and Kabardino-Balkaria.


A local from Levoberezhnoye village of Naursky District complained
about dragging of document issuing for medicine. A mother of nine
requested Zyazikov to provide material support for construction of
their house.


A veteran of the Great Patriotic War complained about the authorities
refusing to support renovation of his house.


The mobile reception group is realizing the president's order to allow
citizens complain about the work of local autonomies. It consists of
officials from the presidential administration, Prosecutor General's
Offices.


The group made its first visit on May 12, 2011. It visited the Ryazan Region.
