The Muslim Brotherhood has urged Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to avoid interfering in Egypt's internal affairs, Trend reports.
The brotherhood responded to Erdogan's call for a secular Constitution.
The Turkish prime minister is on a visit to Egypt, Libya and Tunisia to promote democracy and discuss strategic partnership in the region.
Erdogan met Egyptian Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces Mohamed Tantawi, Prime Minister Essam Sharaf and Secretary General of the Arab League Nabil el-Araby.
Egypt registered the Party of Freedom and Justice in June, formed by the Muslim Brotherhood. The brotherhood plays a more significant role after the resignation of President Hosni Mubarak. It was an active political force at the protests on Tahrir Square.
