The semi-recognized republic of South Ossetia's elected president, Alla Dzhioyeva, says she is going to continue talks with the Russian presidential office's representative, Sergey Vinokurov, Ekho-Moskvy reports on Thursday evening.
Dzhioyeva also said that she is not ready for a compromise with the current South Ossetian authorities.
Alla Dzhioyeva won the ballot at the presidential elections in the second round, but the Supreme Court said the elections were invalid. Dzhioyeva says the decision was politically motivated and unfair. She received 16 per cent more votes than her opponent, pro-Kremlin candidate Bibilov.
The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that the country wouldn't interfere in South Ossetia's internal affairs. All the same, the Kremlin sent its representative to Tskhinvali in order to help the parties to come to an agreement.
