The Prosecutor-General of Kazakhstan didn’t register any incidents of major violations of the electoral law during the elections, but uncovered a series of provocative actions, the official representative of the Prosecutor-General's office, Nurdaulet Suindikov, stated on Monday, RIA Novosti reports.
“536 claims were sent to the prosecution agencies. 63 out of them concern the parliamentary elections and 472 concern elections to local legislative bodies. Generally, no information on the violations was proved,” Suindikov said.
At the same time, there were several reports on ballot-stuffing on the day of elections. The prosecutor emphasized it was found out that the reports were provocative in character.
