Munich is hosting the 48th International Security Conference today, Interfax reports.
The conference will be held on February 3-5. About 350 attendants from 60 states will take part in the talks, including high-ranking officials and leading security experts.
Vestnik Kavkaza reported earlier that Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Edward Nalbandian and Elmar Mammadyarov and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev would take part in the conference.
Polish President Bronisław Komorowski, Prime Minister of Qatar Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Russian Vice Premier Sergey Ivanov, President of the World Bank Group Robert Zoellick will take part in the conference.
State delegations of the G20, including China, India, Singapore and other Asian states will arrive for the talks. A large US delegation is expected. Egypt and Libya planned to attend the talks as well.
The conference will stress on topical problems, such as the repercussions of the Arab Spring and the Iranian nuclear program.
