Since historians had not proved the century-old unknown events associated with the Armenians, the Netherlands and the international community must give a legal and political evaluation of the proven atrocities committed 20 years ago in Khodjaly, the executive director of the “Azerbaijan Society of Friends of the Netherlands”, Marion van der Vegt, told the meeting.
Gert van Dam and Marion van der Vegt presented the document with the collected signatures "One million signatures - one wish", which demands the political and legal assessment of the Khodjaly genocide.
