Russians don't believe in possible 'orange revolution'

Russians do not believe in a possible 'orange revolution' like the one that happened in Ukraine in 2004, the head of the state-run polling center VTSIOM, Valery Fyodorov, says.

Some far-right conservatives (like USSR keen advocate Sergey Kurginyan) believe that the opposition is planning to overthrow the government, which, according to them, would lead to a major social and political catastrophe for Russia.

Polls still show that the majority of Russians don't foresee an imminent revolution. The polls also show that Russians don't sympathize with such radical conservatives as Kurginyan, Fyodorov concludes.
