Dmitry Medoyev, South Ossetian Ambassador to Russia and a candidate for president of South Ossetia, said that he would dissolve the parliament, should he win the polls.
Medoyev says that hostile forces are trying to provoke a split of society and distrust between candidates for president by publishing discrediting materials in media, pressurizing the Central Electoral Commission and the Supreme Court.
The ambassador said that there are attempts to ruin the elections of March 25. Medoyev points out Prosecutor General of South Ossetia Taymuraz Khugayev, who arrived to the republic urgently, and his mastermind former President Eduard Kokoity. Medoyev believes that they are the destructive forces and promises to do his best to have Khugayev dismissed “to rid the republic of this threat”.
