The Kremlin may propose for the position of the prime minister of Chechnya the former mayor of Grozny, the current deputy head of the office of the National Anti-terrorism Committee (NAC), Oleg Zhidkov, RIA Novosti reports, with reference to the newspaper "Kommersant".
A source in the apparatus of the Russia envoy in the North Caucasus Federal District told RIA Novosti on Friday that the head of the Chechen government, Odes Baisultanov, had been dismissed from his job, his candidacy is being considered for the place of the deputy ambassador for Social Affairs. Earlier it was reported that the position of prime minister is being claimed by two of Baisultanov's deputies: Chechen Finance Minister Eli Isayev and Highways Minister Abubakar Tumhadzhiev.
The representative of the administration of the Chechen government, in turn, told RIA Novosti that Baisultanov is on vacation and did not comment on information about his dismissal.

North Caucasus Federal District has not given a clear answer about the possible appointment of Zhidkov as prime minister, noting that "it would be nice if it happened."
According to the publication, attempts to contact with Zhidkov have failed.
