Israeli Chief of General Staff Benny Gantz does not want public discussions of a strike against Iran and recommended opponents and supports of a military action to keep quiet.
When speaking at the Knesset commission for foreign affairs and defenses, General Gantz hinted at the former Counter-Espionage Chief Yuval Diskin and former Chief of Intelligence Services Meir Dagan who made occasional statements about Israel’s reluctance to use force against Iran.
Gantz said that international experts believe that Iran may build 3-4 nuclear bombs. They say that Iran has not decided whether it wants to cross that point or not. International pressure prevents Tehran from making that decision. That means that Israel has some time to think about it.
