Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will attend the summit of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) in Istanbul on June 26, 1news.az reports.
Romania, Georgia, Moldova and Serbia will also be represented by presidents. The vice premiers of Russia and Bulgaria will attend. Spokesman of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Seljuk Unal said that the president of Armenia was invited, but Yerevan decided to sent a foreign minister to Istanbul.
Turkey will start chairing BSEC in July 2012. The organization was established in Istanbul 20 years ago to cooperate in trade, economic development, transport, communication, tourism and ecology. 12 states are part of the organization, including Balkan states and Russia.
