Iran has decided to cut off its ministries and other state agencies from
the Internet in order to protect them from cyber-attacks
similar to those that used the Stuxnet and Flame viruses. According to the
British newspaper the Daily Telegraph, this step will be taken in
September, Tert.am reports.
The newspaper also cites the words of the Iranian IT Minister, Reza
Tagipur, who said that the global network is not trustworthy because it
is controlled "by one or two countries that are enemies of Iran,"
Itar-Tass reports.
