Six world powers (Russia, China, US, France, UK and Germany) and Iran will hold new talks on Tehran's disputed nuclear program, spokesman of the European Commission Sebastian Brabant said in Brussels today, RIA Novosti reports.
High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton and Secretary of the Supreme Council for National Security of Iran Said Jalili had a telephone conversation and agreed to attend the talks in late August.
The previous talks were held in Moscow on June 18-19 where the sides agreed to continue negotiations. Istanbul held the talks on April 14 and Baghdad on May 23-24 after a break lasting over a year.
