Turkey will continue to press Israel to meet its demands

Turkey will continue to press Israel to meet the demands it made after
the attack on a humanitarian convoy heading to Gaza, Turkish Foreign
Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said in parliament, ITAR-TASS reports.

He confirmed the fact that he had secret negotiations with the
Minister of Trade and Industry of Israel Binyamin Ben-Eliezer in
Brussels, who represented President Benjamin Netanyahu. Davutoglu
denied that the meeting was held after contacts between Turkish
Premier Tayyip Erdogan and US President Barack Obama during the G20
summit in Canada.

Ankara demands that Tel-Aviv publicly apologizes for the attack,
cooperates with the UN commission on investigating the incident and
lifts the blockade of Gaza. Davutoglu noted that his country will
'continue the policy of boycotting Israel' and will carry it out on
international platforms, while trying to convince other countries of
the necessity of this.
