Russia and Kazakhstan have agreed on the need to improve the regulatory
framework for the Baikonur complex, the representative of the Presidential
Office for Central Communications, Altay Abibullayev, said today.
"On 19 December 2012 in Moscow, during a bilateral meeting on the
sidelines of a meeting between the EurAsEC Interstate Council and the
Council of the CSTO, our heads of state discussed in detail
issues of bilateral cooperation, including the joint use of the Baikonur
complex in the future. Expressing satisfaction with the long experience of
cooperation in the space sector, the heads of Russia and Kazakhstan have
agreed to improve its regulatory framework," Trend quotes Abibullayev as
saying.
Abibullayev also noted that Russian-Kazakh relations are developing in the
spirit of strategic partnership, good-neighborliness, friendship and
alliance.
