Georgian Interior Minister Irakly Garibashvili signed agreements with the Council of Europe in Strasburg, Trend reports.
The sides signed documents on liberalization of the visa regime, money-laundering, search and confiscation of illegal income, terrorism and corruption control.
The minister approved the program for healthcare at Georgian prisons.
Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe Gabriela Dragon welcomed intensification of cooperation with Georgia. Recommendations were developed to protect the human rights, enforce law and strengthen democracy in Georgia. She added that related documents will be ready in two weeks.
Garibashvili met ambassadors and presented the view of the Georgian Dream coalition.
