Spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashevich called Georgia’s concerns about military drills in the Black Sea an attempt to cover own confrontation policy.
He reminded that Georgia had expressed similar concerns during the previous year’s training, while other states had been fine with the process.
About 7,000 soldiers, up to 250 armored vehicles, over 50 artillery guns, over 20 jets and helicopters, about 30 ships are having military drills. Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived at the training range in the Krasnodar Territory to monitor the process on Friday.
