The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, called the words of President Vladimir Putin that Russia itself is a victim of international terrorism a convincing response to the attempt to link the attacks in Boston with Russia and the North Caucasus, Interfax reports.
Ramzan Kadyrov said that the Chechen people always felt that international terrorists were supported financially, politically and morally.
The Chechen leader drew attention to the fact that "the West still feels at ease with such bandits as Akhmed Zakayev, Movladi Udugov and others… They are the ones who maintain websites that hourly call for violence and bloodshed in Chechnya, for the physical elimination of officials, intellectuals and everyone who works and pays taxes. But they are considered "good" terrorists in the West.
