Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and US President Barack Obama will focus on the Syrian crisis during their bilateral talks,
Hürriyet Daily News reports.
“The Syrian issue will of course be the first topic on the agenda. We will discuss what we can do for the future and what more active steps we can take,” Erdoğan told reporters May 14 in Ankara’s airport before leaving for the United States, the news agency reports.
Erdoğan underlined that the parties would discuss some certain steps to resolve the Syrian conflict and to stop the ongoing bloodshed.
The Turkish prime minister arrived in Washington last night.
