Vladislav Surkov, Russian ex-Vice Prime Minister, may become the presidential assistant for innovative development, Izvestia reports.
Earlier, Surkov was offered the post of Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasus (currently occupied by Alexander Khloponin), Minister for Development of the Far East (Victor Ishayev) or head of a merged corporation of Rosnano and Skolkovo. Surkov refused to accept the offers because of the need to be subject to deputy head of the Presidential Administration Vyacheslav Volodin.
Should Surkov accept the new offer, he would be subjective to President Vladimir Putin and head of the Presidential Administration Sergey Ivanov.
