Human Rights Watch accuses the Syrian government of shooting at least 248 civilians in the coastal towns of El-Beida and Banias on May 2-3, the body says in its official report published on Friday.
According to Human Rights Watch, it was one of the most bloody executions in the history of the Syrian civil war.
The body has interviewed 15 residents of El-Beida and 5 residents of Banias and found out that 167 people were shot dead in the first town and 81 in the second one.
