Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zeidan, detained by the Operative Staff of Libyan Revolutionaries in Tripoli, has been released, ITAR-TASS reports.
Abdel Khakim al-Bulyazi, head of the department for organized crime at the Libyan Interior Ministry, confirmed that the official had been detained on the order of the revolutionaries.
The prime minister is suspected of financial and administrative violations and involvement in capture of Abu Anas al-Liby, an Al Qaeda leader, carried out by the US special forces in Tripoli on Saturday.
