Jailed Russian oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky probably won't be released from prison in the framework of the mass amnesty devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Russian Constitution, Deputy Prosecutor General Alexander Zvyagintsev says.
According to the official, Khodorkovsky was convicted for serious crimes and is now under investigation again, which is why he is unlikely to be pardoned by the president.
Khodorkovsky is believed to be President Vladimir Putin's personal enemy. The imprisoned businessman says he was convicted after he had financially supported the opposition during the 2004 parliamentary elections.
