Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi reported that Tehran’s plan to implement the Geneva agreements will be published after the approval by the negotiating parties of some minor issues.
According to the diplomat, currently, the parties have agreed on the technical issues, but a number of minor points remain unresolved. Arakchi noted that these differences will be settled during the exchange of views of politicians from different parties to the negotiations.
Differences on both sides of negotiations concern different interpretations of the Geneva accords, and they can be eliminated by a direct appeal to the text of the document . The results of the last round of negotiations between Iran and the "group of six" at the expert level in Geneva in general were assessed by Arakchi as "positive", RIA Novosti reports.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, summing up the last round of negotiations in Geneva, noted that they may continue in the near future, but the exact date was not announced .
Earlier, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi said that Iran will start implementing the agreement only when the Europeans take the first steps towards the abolition of sanctions against Iran.
During the next round of talks it is expected that the parties will continue to discuss the mechanism of implementing the agreements reached at the meeting on November 24, 2013. Then Iran and the international mediators (Russia, the U. S., the U. K., France, China and Germany) have agreed on the measures to significantly scale back Iran's nuclear program in anticipation of the full agreement. Among others, Iran pledged to suspend uranium enrichment in ex
