Tehran has started fulfilling the Geneva agreements signed with six international mediators on its nuclear programme on November 24, 2013, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has announced, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the document, Iran will scale-down uranium enrichment to 5% and get rid of 20%-enriched uranium. It will build no new centrifuges and will abstain from using advanced models. Construction at the Arak reactor will be stopped. Shipments of fuel and heavy water for plutonium production will stop. Foreign control over the Iranian nuclear program will be stricter.
In exchange, foreign sanctions against Iranian petrochemical and transportation sectors will be eased and bank accounts will be unfrozen.
