Georgy Goguadze, the head of the Directorate of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry in the Dnepropetrovsk Oblast, has filed a resignation note after protests at the regional police building, RIA Novosti reports.
About 200 people protested at the Directorate last night, demanding Goguadze’s resignation. They claimed that Goguadze had been appointed without approval of the public and political parties. Some activists met him. He wrote a resignation note after a conversation with them.
Authorities of the Dnepropetrovsk Oblast said that they will pay $10,000 for every pro-Russian activist and $200,000 for clearing administrative buildings of pro-Russian activists. The local authorities offer up to $2,000 for every light weapon.
