Russian president Dmitri Medvedev has signed orders, which were made
following the results of the meeting in Makhachkala on April 1st, the
day after terrorist attacks in Kizlyar claimed the lives of 12 people,
reports the Kremlin press service.
In particular, the head of the state gave directions to establish a
permanent operational group responsible for terrorist cases in the
North-Caucasus federal district by April 19th.
Medvedev also proposed that Prosecutor-General Yuri Chaika, SKP head
Alexander Bastrikin, and Chief Executive of Kremlin administration
Sergei Narishkin recommend steps to help improve legislation to
strengthen criminal liability for terrorists.
In addition, the president set a task to make preparating proposals
for an antiterrorist program by April 30th, reports RIA Novosti.
Families of law-enforcement officials who have died discharging their
duties will receive compensation from the authorities.
