Sergei Slobadchuk, a political consultant, told Vestnik Kavkaza that the current parliamentary-presidential model of the political structure in Ukraine was not constructive, and prevents the country from developing. According to him, it leads to conflicts inside the political leadership.
Commenting on the situation where People’s Front of Yatsenyuk is the leader, Slobadchuk stated that pre-election surveys that predicted the party would take 3rd or 4th place were right. The expert said these were the dirtiest elections since 2004. He stated that results of the elections couldn’t differ from public opinion polls by 10 percent. Slobadchuk sees the problem in the parliamentary-presidential structure of the country’s management.
