Lukashenko: a ban on supplies from Belarus adopted behind the back of Putin

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a press conference in the Kremlin said that the decision by Rosselkhoznadzor to limit agricultural supplies from Belarus, as well as the decision to prohibit the transit of goods from the territory of Belarus, was adopted to bypass the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and without agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"It's all done unilaterally, without any consultation, bypassing the EEC and, moreover, as it became known as a result of today's talks with Vladimir Putin, and without his consent. The conclusion is that there is no clear mechanism of interaction and control within the common customs," Lukashenko is quoted by TASS.

At the same time, Lukashenko sees no desire to change this situation by the EEC. "It appears that the Commission actually distanced itself from solving really sensitive issues," he stated, adding that relations within the Customs Union and the SES are goibg through severe trials.
