Turkish Deputy Prime Minister retires

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said that he was going to leave his post and retire from politics.

According to him, he has devoted over 40 years of his life to politics, and it's time to give way to the younger generation.
Arınç also explained his intent to retire from politics was due to the fact that regulations of the ruling Justice and Development Party prohibit someone being elected from the Party to the Parliament for more than three terms.
Earlier, it was reported that over 70 current MPs from the ruling Justice and Development Party of Turkey will be unable to participate in the parliamentary elections in 2015.
This decision was taken at the regular meeting of the ruling party in accordance with internal regulations. Such well-known representatives of the Justice and Development Party as deputy prime ministers Bulent Arinc, Besir Atalay and Ali Babacan, Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdag, deputy head of the party Huseyin Celik, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz, and Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, will be unable to take part in the parliamentary election of 2015 in Turkey, Trend reports.
