Georgia has everything it needs to prepare for entering NATO, Deputy Secretary General Alexander Vershbow said in Brussels.
Vershbow also said that he was glad about his future visit to Georgia, which is scheduled for January 29-30.
"The visit is the best way to evaluate the progress of Georgia as a NATO partner and a country that is seeking NATO membership. The mechanisms that will prepare Georgia for accession to NATO were expanded at the Wales summit," Trend cited him as saying.
The Deputy Secretary General of NATO said that today in Georgia a group of experts and advisers of NATO is operating.
"We are working on opening a joint training center. I hope that this center will open in Georgia by the end of 2015. We will help the Georgian side in the opening of a school, prepare the base and a place to hold joint exercises on the territory of Georgia, both for member states and partners of NATO," Alexander Vershbow said.
