Opposition parties in Turkey are seekng to plunge the country into chaos, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has claimed, adding that the opposition Republican People's Party has contacts with the movement of Fethullah Gulen.
Davutoglu also didn’t rule out that the opposition could attempt to stage provocations in the country on the eve of the parliamentary elections to be held in June, 2015, Trend reports.
Under the country’s law, candidates are required to resign from their previous positions by February 10.
Currently, there are 76 political parties in Turkey. However, only four of them are represented in the country’s parliament: the Justice and Development Party, Republican People's Party, Nationalist Movement Party and the pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party. Representatives of 31 political parties will participate in the parliamentary election in Turkey.
