Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu didn't propose an alternative resolution of the nuclear issue in his speech to the US Congress.
"Simply demanding that Iran completely capitulate is not a plan, nor would any country support us in that position. The Prime Minister did not formulate a concrete action plan," Interfax cited a White House official, who wished to remain anonymous.
He stressed that the logic of the prime minister’s speech is regime change, not nuclear talks.
Earlier, Netanyahu said that he was not satisfied with the progress of the negotiations between the six international mediators and Iran. According to him, the forthcoming agreement does not prevent the Iranian side from developing nuclear weapons.
Netanyahu said a nuclear deal with Iran would pose a threat to world peace.
