Protests against recognition of the ‘Armenian Genocide’ by the German authorities are taking place in Berlin. According to Orkhan Sattarov, head of the European Bureau of Vestnik Kavkaz, the protest, arranged by diaspora organizations of Turkey and Azerbaijan, is currently taking place in the capital of Germany.

The protesters expressed their dissatisfaction with the position of the German authorities regarding the Armenian Genocide, the events of 1915 in the Ottoman Empire.

At the present time about 10 thousand people have joined the march, which is to take place to the central street 17th of June, which adjoins the Reichstag. The demonstrators are chanting slogans: "Parliament is not the court, and politicians are not judges." The protesters’ posters remind of the murders of many Turkish diplomats and their families by Armenian terrorists, as well as the extermination of hundreds of Azerbaijani civilians in Khojaly by Armenian militants.
