Medvedev may attend Lech Kaczynski's funeral

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev may visit Poland to pay the tribute
to the memory of the country's President, Lech Kaczynski, who died in
a plane crash near Smolensk on 10th April, RIA Novosti reports, citing
Natalya Timakova, Medvedev's press-secretary.

96 people died in a Tu-154 plane crash. The Polish government was
heading to Katyn to commemorate victims of political repression.

"Obviously, taking into account the situation and the president's
words of condolence to the Polish people for the tragic death of
Poland's president, I don't exclude the possibility that he may want
to pay tribute personally to the memory of President Kaczynski", -
Timakova said.
