Turkish President Abdullah Gul met Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves at an official ceremony in Chankay, TRT reports.
After the two countries’ national anthems, the Estonian leader greeted participants of the ceremony in Turkish.
Turkish Parliamentary Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin was also present at the ceremony.
After a face-to-face meeting and negotiations between the delegations, the presidents will participate in a joint press-conference. Turkish Prime Minister Reccep Tayyip Erdogan will give a dinner in his official residence in the honor of Estonian president.
