Israel revises its military cooperation with Turkey

Israel has decided to revise its military collaboration with Turkey,
due to the constant anti-Israeli rhetoric of Turkish prime minister
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Armenia today reports.

The Israeli Organization for Military Exports (SIBAT) will now
consider every Turkish request separately, and make every decision
dependant on a general evaluation of the set of problems related to
selling seperate kinds of weapons to Islamic countries.

SIBAT is currently reviewing requests to import the modern high-tech
electronic Spike anti-tank missiles and the Namer armoured
vehicle.

A source in the Israeli Defence Ministry told a correspondent of the Turkish newspaper 'Today's Zaman': "Our relations with Turkey will
never be as before. We will be more careful due to the islamist
tendencies in this country".
